Booster Axle Assembly

Booster Axle Assembly

The Booster Axle Assembly is a removable framework coupled to removable axle(s). The Booster Axle Assembly may use mechanical air or hydraulics to provide load transfer. The Booster Axle Assembly increases the wheel base of the trailer when attached to the rear frame. The Booster Axle Assembly is used in heavy hauling situations where stringent "overweight" regulations and specific axle loads are critical.

Bridge Ramps

Bridge Ramps Bridge Ramps are added to the rear of the trailer deck to assist in loading certain types of machinery onto the rear frame area of the trailer. Designed with an incline of approximately 30°, the bridge ramps are fabricated from tread plate and reinforced for durability. Bridge Ramps are standard equipment on most detachable gooseneck trailers with platform decks and are optional equipment on many drop side deck models.

Bucket Pocket

Bucket Pocket In the rear trailer deck, the last three or four cross members are "notched" lower than the main beams. This "Bucket Pocket" can hold the tucked under bucket of an excavator to provide extra overhead clearance.

Bumper Stop

Bumper Stop The Bumper Stop is welded to the rear channel and serves as a guide to the rear edge for loading equipment. Only available for ''Gentle Riser'' and ''Sloper'' deck styles.

Center 3rd Ramp

Center 3rd Ramp Center 3rd Ramp on a Tag-Along is an optional ramp in the center of the manual rear ramps. It offers safer loading of narrow machines, like rollers. Trailers using the Center 3rd Ramp also often have ramp wedge extensions for a closer edge to the ground.

Center Boards (Center Decking Boards)

Center Boards An optional accessory on many ROGERS platform deck trailers, Center Boards are the decking that sits between the mainbeams on the deck of the trailer. The decking can be either permanently installed (using carriage bolts and floor clips) or loose (held in place with spring hold-downs). Loose Center Boards can then be used with the trailer's side brackets to widen the trailer deck by up to two feet for wider machines.

Cover Boards

Cover Boards Located in the center of the rear frame, the Cover Boards provide traction for rollers and tracks, or the Cover Boards can be removed for access to a boom trough for excavators.

Croucher®

Croucher® Croucher® is the registered trademark name for the front slope design on the platform decks of ROGERS detachable gooseneck trailers. The front portion of the main beams are tapered on the top and bottom for easier loading as though the trailer is "crouching" close to the ground. The beam hooks on the trailer frame are also positioned at or below the front slope profile in order to allow easier loading of rollers and similar machinery.

Deck Plate

Deck Plate Deck plate is the loading surface on most drop side deck trailers. It is usually made from 1/4" or 3/8" steel tread plate and takes the place of wood decking to achieve the lowest deck height possible.

Depressed Cover Plate

Depressed Cover Plate A Depressed Cover Plate is a formed plate in the rear frame that is either welded or bolted to the lowered cross members in the "boom trough" or the "bucket pocket". The Depressed Cover Plate provides road spray protection and added storage.
